Months, five museums in Ankara

1) Museum of Anatolian Civilizations :
Turkish : Anadolu Medeniyetleri Müzesi.
And in English : The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

Opened in 1921 , and the number of visitors to 450,000 visitors annually .
The museum houses a number of exhibitions that display Anatolian effects ranging from the Stone Age to the Hellenistic Greek civilization and the Roman , Byzantine , Seljuk , Ottoman and down .

2) Museum Alanthogravea in Ankara:
Turkish : Ankara Etnografya Müzesi.
English : Ethnography Museum of Ankara.
It is a museum dedicated to display the culture of of ethnographic Turkish civilizations .
The building was designed by architect Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu and built between 1925 and 1928.
This museum hosted the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk , on a temporary basis from 21 November 1938 until 10 November 1953.
While they were building a shrine official we had talked about in the previous article .
It is worth mentioning that it has recently been discovered a copy of the Bible in the Palace of Justice in Turkey Syriac language books dating back to the pre- 1500 years and has been displayed in this museum.



3) Sculpture Museum in Ankara:
Turkic : Resim ve Heykel Müzesi.
English : State Art and Sculpture Museum.
It is located near the Museum Alanthogravea .
Is a museum dedicated to the fine arts and sculpture, was designed in 1927 by the same architect who designed Museum Alanthogravea , has been built in the period between 1927 and 1930 .
The Day Center for the Arts , where are displayed the works of prominent artists and who have a key role in the development of the art of painting and sculpture Turkish .



 4) Museum of the War of Independence :
Turkic : Kurtuluş Savaşı Müzesi.
English : War of Independence Museum.
Founded in the 23 forgotten in 1961 in a building of the Turkish Grand National Assembly War of Independence Museum in Ulus Ulus neighborhood .
Displays photographs of important and valuable documents belonging to the Turkish War of Independence .



 5 ) Technology Museum :
Turkic : Çengelhan Rahmi M. Koç Müzesi.
English : The Çengelhan Rahmi M. Koç Museum.
 Founded in 2005 in a popular neighborhood called Atpazari ( meaning : Horse Market ) , which faces Ankara Citadel .
Includes on shows for textile machinery , agricultural machinery, as well as pharmaceutical exhibitions .
It also presents and rail cars , and marine navigation equipment and many other technical machines .
